Jana Strain began Freediving in 2008. Having a deep love of all things aquatic and feeling at home in the water, it is not surprising that in her short career she has set numerous records and received top international honours.

As a youth, Jana trained rigorously in many forms of dance and began scuba diving at 18, which ultimately led her to her career in Freediving. In 2008 she was voted the Best New International Freediver. In 2009 Jana continued to shine earning her first medal at an Individual World Championships. In 2010 Jana won the overall female title at the World Cup Championship.

When Jana is not in the water she enjoys speaking to the public about healthy living, ocean conservation, body awareness and the general beauty of life.
